This transparent creature can grow up to 1m in length. It has powerful pincer jaws and a nasty sting, and is equipped with numerous bristles on its side to help with swimming and sensing water pressure changes.
The slickribbon swims by means of paddles, one pair to each segment, beating in a wave-like action like a kind of aquatic millipede. It is transparent and has mouth parts which are mounted on an extendible trunk, which it can shoot out in the fraction of a second.
Gloomworms lingering near the surface of the water are a tasty source of food for the slickribbon.
